In Umm Azzam's video this time we are talking about one of my favorite recipes, namely Long Lasting Crispy Pastels. How to make super economical long-lasting crisp pastels with maximum results. The ingredients are cheap, the method is practical, but the results are not cheap. In this video, I also talk about how I freeze these pastels. And even though they are frozen, they remain crunchy and last a long time and are not oily, as long as you know how to fry them. It's easy, don't be afraid of failure. recipe :
stuffing:
750 gr boiled chicken
900 potatoes
600 gr carrots
200 gr vermicelli
5 spring onions
spice:
oil for frying
6 pieces of garlic
1 onion
1/2 maggi block
50- 75 cc of water
2.5 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground pepper
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp granulated sugar
pastel skin:
1.5 kg medium pro wheat flour
180 gr margarine
1.5 tsp ground pepper
2.5 tsp garlic powder
1.5 tbsp salt
350 cc of water
150 gr ice cubes
275 vegetable oil

Kl untuk ukuran ring cutter 12 cm, 1 kg terigu dapat 60 biji biasanya, ukuran 12 ukuran standar menurutku tidak terlalu kecil dan tidak terlalu besar, pantas buat isian snackbox

Assalamualaikum Salam knal bun sy dari tangerang Mohon solusinya ya bun. Sy klw bikin pastel untuk besok tp separoh sy goreng sbentar lalu stelah dingin sy masukan ke freezer tp stelah sy goreng kembali koq kurang enak rasanya sm bentuk nya juga kurang bagus , dan separoh lg sy tidak goreng lalu sy masukin ke wadah sy tutp lalu masuk ke kulkas pas di goreng juga bentuk nya ga bagus lg,, ga mao mengembang kempes wja jd ga menarik itu gimana ya bun 🙏

Ga usah digoreng setengah matang, cukup dimasukkan ke kulkas, kl goreng banyak minyak banyak disambil ditenggelamkan yang bentuknya peyot krn ditumpuk dibatasi plastik, nanti akan kembali bagus, sepengalamanku sih begitu, krn aku jg kl bikin smp 500 biji ga masuk frezer begitu, bentuk dan rasa tetep ok

Kl kulkas banyak sayuran yg blm dicuci saya tutup, kl kulkasnya bersih ga ditutp malah bagus, jadi ga lembek, ditutup jg ga apa, ga usah terlalu rapat jg ga apa, cuma agak lembek ya

Ya bisa disimpan kulkas bawah, kalo freezer blm ku coba, tidak ditumpuk banyak takut merekat ya dan harus tutup rapat, kl tidak pinggirnya kering nanti susah dibentuk atau dipilin, jadi resiko kl blm biasa

Ya saya pake bawang putih segar sama yang bubuk mba, karena memang disini tersedia dan mudah mendapatkan bawang putih bubuk, kl yg ga suka bawang putih bisa dikurangi

Bun kalo pastel sudah dicetak pagi terus didiamkan di suhu ruangan terus digorengnya siang apakah akan merusak adonan menjadi kering?

Kalau pun kering tidak apa, tidak merusak adonan, malah gampang pas mau masukin ke minyak, saya kl taro dikulkas bawah juga ga dirutup terlalu rapat, kl tutup rapat malah jadi agak lentur, tak apa sih cuma harus sedikit hati2 ngambilnya, kl kering kan gampang ambilnya
