Very beautiful and simple. As a hairstylist for Theatre and film there are a few other techniques that will help so the use of hairspray is minimized.Using a smidge amount of styling hairdressing cream spread to nothing on to your palm and in between fingers then taking your styling brush and running it over the palm with the hairdressing cream to smooth out the hair after back brushing, and back combing to control and smooth hair, once done and satisfied use hair spray and use brush to set the hair and pin in place. There are many hairstyling skills necessary to work in theatre and film that are not taught in hairdressing schools. I teach these skills which are in demand in the movie business in Toronto.
