With my Derwent Inktense I had to be so careful. I know the French edition is the worse (next time I'll buy the English one)... but yours is not very thick either?

I have no idea really. I guess it just i have more experience woth watercolor even before using it for coloring book so i have much better understanding how the medium work and so i kinda have better control of it. Dont worry keep practicing and you will get there x

Absolutely love this technique! What is the fixatiff spray you use? I have krylon workable fixatiff, would that work?

Oh yes of course. I totally forgot to show it. My fixative is j.burrow which is an Australian brand you can pretty much only find at office work. But any fixative brand for soft pastel/pencils will do the job x

What do you do to protect the pastel colors from fading and sticking to other pages

Thanks for the tutorial Olivier ... it would be helpful if you’d give the watercolor pigment names instead of numbers. Unlike colored pencils, the names are fairly consistent across artist quality brands so that would make it easier to find the same paint in our palettes
