Very nice build and exact cuttings! But 1 thing I really like to do is use 1 length of board (if possible) so the colours will match. Then the autistic kid in me can sleep with a calm mind😊 Maybe next time you will try that to and you will see that it's just a small detail but makes a hugh differnce. Greatings from the Netherlands👍

Great first video, glad to see you on youtube! Question; I've seen you use a leaf blower to suck up chips from the comedy sized planer and seen others on tiktok use handheld blowers to suck up dust and chips from saws etc... I assume all the debris pass through the propeller and out the other end, doesn't that damege it or prematurely wear out the blower or gunk up it's bearings?
@simonbowler1
@simonbowler1 Жыл бұрын
Good question….. I’ve had the same stihl garden vac for years, and other than routine maintenance, i’ve had zero issues. It has a blade infront of the fan to smash things up, but planer chips and dust are no drama for it 👍🏻

nice work, mostly do it like that as well, and be honest, the NFU50 is a game changing beast, use it often and feels so easy as if it isn't removing 50% of the wood in a signle pass. Were do you get the hinges from? the design looks better then most used in the Netherlands.

I’ve been following for a while on Insta and always like to see the daily updates on your builds. Always fabulous work! The placement of the hinges on the gates, top and bottom, is this structural or just how you do them? If it had been me doing them I’d probably have had them a bit closer together, so top one down maybe one board and vice versa with the bottom one? I’m absolutely only a diy’er so only asking to learn. Hopefully full brownie points for the complete, like, subscribe and comment 😊😉🤣
