Great tut, Thanks! I have a green screen dolly shot that I need to match motion on a background still. My problem is getting believable perspective movement between the foreground subject (keyed subject being tracked by the camera on the dolly) and the background (a still image 30 feet behind the subject). So I have parallax to deal with that I can't figure out how to do in the motion tracking module in AE. Using POSITION works for x,y of course but ROTATION only works for 2D z rotation which clocks my image right and left not in perspective towards the vanishing point. I am guessing I need to promote this to 3D space or add a camera. Please help. Thanks.

Well actually I hate those videos with computer voices but in this case the voice is ok. At least theres no guy typing everything in in Notepad >.

Thanks for the tutorial. Need your help on something. Must I track and replace a background on a full length green footage, most especially in music videos?
@quinnls7 жыл бұрын
Could you use a third or even a fourth point to account for changes in perspective? (i.e. a "sweeping" shot)

AMAZING VIDEO! I was using a chroma screen, and my camera was blurry so I didn't get it right the first time, but I tried after, and it was perfect. Long process, but worth it!

question I'm doing a project that will must likely involve green scree. i will be capturing my actor/dancer in the green room but the background itself will either a projection moving image or a separate background moving video, that has moving lights and stuff will it be the same process as you have done here when adding the background with a moving one or is it different.
@marydavis8012 Жыл бұрын
@postbusters How would you go about doing this with an already transparent rotoscoped file? Like, if I wanted to change the background to match the subject's movement.

Anyone know where I can find free HD clips of green screen tracking scenes with an actor for practicing? Would love some of a character just walking down a camera or with some stable camera moves around the person.

So, if you just move in two-dimensional room it´s easy, you can just work with a picture... but how to do it if you want to have three-dimensional movements like rotations etc.? especially if in my case you can´t film the background so have to choose sth from the internet... I just don´t know what I want exactly - if you watch the introduction of Galileo in TV, i.e. the anchor stays suitable to the theme on a cliff and the camera pans down so that you can see the bottom of the ravine - how to do? Probly you might need the surroundings as a 3D-object or ne a 360°-picture or sth like this...
@Gameboy-20005 жыл бұрын
I seen your Suggested Channel. The Anchor Is In 3D Room. You Should Use Softwares like Cinema4D or 3DsMax,etc. To Build a 360° Environment And Do Motion Tracking in AE, Nuke or Fusion.

what about if I have tracking points inside a garbage mask? betwen subject and backround, e.g. behind subject's hair... when i used 2 times keying i lost a lot of subject's clothes... i used blue background and green tracking points... maybe should i use blue background and blue tracking points with a less lightness to background?
