This is the most professional and thoughtful video. I became bedridden for years and I am slowly coming back to my fashionista persona. Thank you so much, I loveee your videos 💎🙏🏼🌷

Glad it was helpful and thank you for sharing! How scary🙏. Not feeling well and not being healthy puts everything in perspective. It drains you! I’m so happy you’re recovering your spark and hope that you get to great sooner rather later.

Thanks for such a down-to-earth and actionable tips! You have made me understand the basics about proportions better than anyone else I've watched. I have found that keeping my closet well organized helps me inmensely to avoid frumpyness. I've tried several ways to do it and now I have It organized into two sections: my favourite clothes and the rest. The first section is like a capsule of things I love and make me feel really confident. The second are "almost there" or just ok clothes that I mix with my favourites. Does it make sense? Well, it works for me and it is helping me to make better purchases. Btw: I live in Madrid

Hello from upstate New York, Syracuse to be exact! Loved the thoughtful tips today, especially the third piece rule. I’m an interior designer and often encourage a third fabric into a room plan, makes for a much more interesting space!

PA near Harrisburg. Love this video. I also love all black but it has to be strategic pieces, because around here most people associate that with either goth or amish LOL. I have a big bust and a short waist so I have to be really careful about the length and fit of my tops. That rule of thirds works really well for me to feel balanced. I finally decided that I refuse to buy any top that doesn't hit me at the right spot, and I'm not going to count on tucking or tying or rolling to try to make it work. I know that's the common fashion advice and makes a piece look stylish, but if it comes unrolled, untied or untucked, then I instantly looked frumpy, feel self concious, and I'm fooling with it all day long LOL.

Yes, tops that are the right length are underrated! Hacks are great but many require upkeep throughout the day! Have you tried the elastic bands from Amazon? I’m short waisted too and those help me not drown in fabric. I talked about them here. Also, I laughed out loud at the all black!😂🖤kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKKpYpqqe71qpsksi=h9HRXVoBqgBOXOjq

Great video! Lots to ponder🤔 I would wear the glove shoe to take out the garbage lol Actually, I shopped yesterday for something similar in neon yellow after I met up with my cute, young neighbor wearing pink furry cat slides while taking out her garbage. Rosie 👩🦳 75 Toronto 🇨🇦

Hi. From Florida which is somewhat different style. It's still 90° here. Hoping for sweater weather.
@pajamamama5965Күн бұрын
aww. 90 is still way too hot. I've seen short sleeve sweaters recently in stores that are lightweight cotton loosely woven, a see through piece. You'd have to wear a Cami under it, but I thought they looked cute just not warm enough for my Pennsylvania fall. Would they work in the heat or still be too hot?

I know it! It’s a different experience all together, enjoy wearing breezy dresses year round😂 I lived in Tampa for 6 months and definitely got soft and used to the constant ☀️

I live in Virginia, just a few miles from DC. For years, I’ve loved taking time to be creative as I plan several outfits (“playing in my closet”), but lately it’s feeling a little flat. But-the many photos you showed as you were talking are lovely AND inspirational. I hope to recover the joy.

Thanks for sharing! I think many of us go through those ruts where we lose joy in the little things that make us happy in general. Sometimes it can feel like why bother? I totally get that. Hope you get your fashion spark back and feel better than ever in your outfits ❤️

Thanks so much for your comment! I totally get it, being from TX and having lived in FL for a winter season, sometimes it’s just not in the cards to wear a blazer, cardigan or jacket! Have you tried light scarves too? They make beautiful airy ones that look elegant and can add dimension to your outfit too. Jewelry and even belts are a 3rd layer in my opinion! I sometimes try to wear hats but they give me a headache 😭

I am a big fan of jewelry for a third layer , I divided them into seasons and what's considered fancy occasions here in Turkey. As a German woman I should wear more shawls or scarves than I do .I just have not figured out how to tie them so they won't come undone😁
