Simple Hare's Ear Nymph | FlyToTie Fly Tying

Sometimes you need to fill up your box quickly with effective patterns before you hit the water. This simple variant of the hare's ear nymph is a great little pattern to do just that.

Awesome thank you going to tie this now from Australia. Can I ask what size hook and bead ?

This one must have been tied on a size 12 hook with a 4mm bead but that's mostly because we can't yet find a good way to get anything much smaller on camera without it being too small! We will use the size 12 with a 4mm bead as a dropper, but we would tie this pattern down to size 18 or even 20 with a 2.5 or 2mm bead to be used as a point fly.
