Simple how to repair broken iPhone iPad USB lighting charger cable port easy fix DYI

I was able to repair this iPhone/iPad charger in minutes. Simple hack to save money.
Easy fix that can be done by just about anyone.
Charging cable was back in service in minutes.
Even vice grips or pliers could work.

Let’s see what happens when you plug it into the phone and pull it out. Does the pin get stuck in the charging port or is it permanently attached now...Did you have to glue it?

The one I fixed did work without glue. Some people have glued them successfully. So many different cords out there...seems some are easier to fix than others.
