that was a breaker block ,since we ddnt have proper FVG down there ,the breaker block was our only clear POI,plus that liquidity sweep was our magnate to draw the price lower

Is the entry-selection line decided by waiting for a bullish engulfing candle, which won't happen at all potential entry points, but just at the one?

extreme FVG was first FVG that appeared, closest to the origin/OB of the move. it will provide best entry point, and should be in discount for buy, or premium for sell

It depends on your own trading plan. I avoid high impact news but there are times when I hold trades during news.

In your first example with GBPUSD this was the day in June where the US Inflation rate was decided. Just know if you'd have taken this trade in real life you'd have been stopped out due to the spread. Remember to backtest all strategies over a long period of time and in favorable conditions people. Good strategy overall.

Truth is the truth! The bot passes challenges usually on the same day or in a few days. If we don’t pass it for you in under 30 days you get all your money back.
