Denise, I made these but used the smallest “diamonds” I could find. I didn’t fill to the top so I could pour clear cast resin over the diamonds. This made the top a solid, smooth surface. You can also tint the resin with metallic mica for a little extra pizazz.

Start small and build your confidence from there. Some projects won’t turn out like you has hoped (at first) but stick to it. And never aim for perfection. Your imperfections are what make each piece unique and gives it character. Crafting can be very therapeutic but should always be fun. Good luck to you 💕
