Hi guys! Hope you all find the answer for the last question. Correct answer is R% = 8% Also please update the below mentioned question, as there are some typo while editing the video. ( or Kindly verify with the question I've read and the data written on the board.. Sorry for the inconvenience.) 4) In how many years a certain principal will be four times of itself at 15% per annum SI. 6) In how many years a certain principal would be 5 times of itself at 12.5% per annum SI 11) If a sum of money will be 5 times of itself in 4 years, then in how many years will it become 9 times at the same rate of simple interest?

Hi Mam, I have a doubt regarding the concept of subtracting the Amounts 'A', in the questions where two amounts and their respective years are given to find the rate R. So, my question is if A = P + S.I, then when we subtract the two amounts how are you saying that the difference is directly S.I, shouldn't it be a combination of P & S.I? Please clarify. If anyone knows please reply to this comment.

For 6th sum, Given: principle should be 4 times, R= 12.5% p.a. SI R=1/8 which means P=8 and amount should be 4 times of p then, P=8 A=32 ( P=8 +S.I=24) 1yr = 1 S.I. 'X' yr = 24 S.I then x=24.... but from ur NR formula NR=300 N= 300/(100/8) = 3*8 N=32 years... Both the answer varies.... kindly clarify my doubt....
