In this video, I will be sharing my daily routines. 01:11 In the first part, you will listen to the whole passage at a slightly slower speed. 14:19 Next, you will practice listening and speaking with repetition, one slide at a time. 01:00:07 Finally, you will listen to the passage at a natural speed spoken by a native speaker. You can listen to the same sentences multiple times, so please practice repeatedly until you can understand them well. Subtitles are available, so please select subtitles from the settings. Let me know if you need any adjustments! 今回はわたしの毎日の習慣をご紹介しています。 01:11最初のパートではややゆっくりなスピードで通しのリスニング、 14:19 次に、1スライド毎のリピートでリスニング&スピーキングの練習 01:00:07 最後はネイティブが話す自然なスピードでのリスニングとなっています。 何度も同じ文章が聞けるようになっているので、 しっかり聞き取れるようになるまで繰り返し練習してみてください。 字幕を用意してますので、設定より字幕を選んでください。

This hits home so much. I was In NYC visiting my hometown and I unexpectedly ran into this beautiful Japanese woman, I had already been learning Japanese for some time but meeting her we immediately hit it off and were together everyday on spontaneous adventures. I fell in love that day and couldn't believe my luck. I vowed to studied even harder so i can one day speak it fluently. Japanese is hard, but as you say it is about discovering the joy in life's unexpected journey. How poignantly apt you have summed it up.

thx for your video, i need help about that ga after "motomoto tabako ha suimasenGA" I don't understand why ga is there and why this phrase translate to "never smoked" if anyone knows i would gladly accept your explanation thx
@YosukeTeachesJapanese
@YosukeTeachesJapanese 2 ай бұрын
@arimakosei4929 Thank you for your question! The use of "が" (ga) in the sentence "もともとたばこは吸いませんが" (motomoto tabako wa suimasen ga) can be a bit confusing. Let's break it down: もともとたばこは吸いません (motomoto tabako wa suimasen) translates to "I don't smoke tobacco originally" or "I have never smoked tobacco." The "が" (ga) at the end of the sentence functions as a conjunction, similar to "but" or "however" in English. In this context, "が" is often used to soften the statement or to leave it open-ended, implying there might be more information to come or simply making the statement sound less abrupt. In everyday conversation, it’s a way to be polite and maintain the flow of dialogue. As for why this phrase translates to "never smoked," the word "もともと" (motomoto) means "originally" or "from the beginning," so when combined with "たばこは吸いません" (tabako wa suimasen), it implies that the person has never smoked tobacco from the start. So the full translation would be something like: "I originally don't smoke tobacco, but..." I hope this helps clarify things! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
