Scones
Makes 12
One egg
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter
Preheat oven to 475° F and grease a cookie sheet.
Crack egg into a one cup glass measuring cup, mix with fork. Add milk to the three-quarter cup mark and mix well.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Lightly mix in the butter with your fingers. Stir in milk mixture.
Roll out dough to half inch thickness and cut with a 2 1/4 inch floured cookie cutter.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until a nicely browned.🌻
