# Simple KFC Chicken Popcorn Copycat

This recipe is reliable weapon to catch my little prince attention.
It tastes so good, either to accompany Nasi Tumpeng or Bento rice.
Yes, it’s definitely easy to make and fail-safe.
Its spices deeply merged to the meats, with the savory taste of Ngo Hiang seasoning, and also a hint of sweet taste from Sprite (Soft drink) ingredient. The texture is crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside.
Yeah, it’s definitely a children lover.

Ingredient
### The Main Ingredient
600 to 800 grams Chicken Breast Fillet, cut into cubes
Ingredients for the Marination (as well as Dipping)
150 to 200 ml Soda water (Sprite Soft drink), Can be replaced with UHT milk solution.
* 1 Egg.
* 1 teaspoon salt, suit your taste.
* 1 teaspoon Broth powder (Royco Chicken broth powder), suit your taste.
* 1 tsp Pepper Powder.
* 1 tsp Garlic fine powder, can be replaced with 3 or 5 cloves mashed fresh garlic.
* 1 tsp Ngo Hiang powder, OPTIONAL.
Ingredients for the Coating
300 grams or about 20 tbsp of Bread flour.
* 3 tbsp or about 45 to 55 grams of Maizena Flour.
* 1 Sachet of Crispy Chicken Flour (75 to 100 grams).
* 1 tsp Curry Powder, can be replaced with Ngo Hiang powder, OPTIONAL.
* 1 tsp Oregano, OPTIONAL.
Notes
This is the premium version, Guys. Because it uses Sprites, eggs, oregano & instant crispy Chicken flour and Ngo Hiang powder. So, for the economical version, we can replace Soda water with 150 to 200 ml of water which is mixed with ½ tsp of baking soda.
But of course, in terms of taste, it will be different (but it's still soft, crunchy and tasty). Likewise, with the use of eggs. It’s definitely fine to skip it out.
Make sure that during the frying process - once we’ve done coating the sufficient amount of chicken meats, please fry them in hot oil immediately. So, don't wait for any longer, or the chicken will become hard and clumpy.
The use of instant Crispy Chicken seasoning flour can be replaced with plain flour (Bread or Cake flour). But to add more tasty flavors, please add a little salt, Broth powder and Pepper powder or chili powder or Paprika powder, according to taste.
If the remaining marinated water is too little because it is absorbed by the chicken pieces, we can add about 100 to 200 ml of soft drink or plain water as well. Then just adjust its savory and salty taste to match with your needs.
