Mama Olga is a good cook. It's her passion to always prepare food for her family. It's how she shows her love language through act of service. Lumpia is really tasty, you can cook it using different fillings like ground pork, ground beef, fishes, shrimps, crab meat, canned tuna, corned beef and vegetables. Mama Olga can reduce the size of lumpia. Instead of making it big, she can wrap them by thinning the size. Kids will surely love it❤

Hi Andrei, just a friendly reminder to be careful around stray dogs and cats. Rabies is still prevalent in the Philippines right now; I love all dogs, but I'm always wary of them every time I go back to Pinas because you'll never know what's going to happen. The white dog looks very behave and friendly but just be aware that it's probably not vaccinated. Cheers!

Well done on the adobo, Mama Olga! 🎉. For lumpia shanghai or meat fillings, it is usually round with tight wrapping; the rectangular ones are reserved for sweet fillings like bananas to fit its shape. Light frying will do since you are using canned meats, but if it is ground meat, make sure you use lots of oil so that the meat will cook thoroughly inside. Otherwise, no matter the technique, it tastes the same and is crispy, so that’ll work! Keep on cooking, Mama O!

Andrei, the lumpia wrapper is thick. For the lumpia to be cooked easily, you must peel the wrapper one by one and for the equal portion to be cooked on all sides, Mama olga must put additional cooking oil

As much as the thick pie shape is interesting for your family, lumpiang shanghai cooks best when they're _thin and round_. It's supposed to be a _roll_, not a pie! Thick rolls are usually for vegetable fillings.

it was just andrei who lives in the country. then she asked her mom to visit and try tropical living. she enjoyed it a lot so she wished to bring her whole family. they are not rich and cannot work while in the Philippines. that's why they are asking for some help. they also give back. they give tips and gifts.. shares some of the gifts they get.

Are you implying that this family is relying on locals for support? If so, can you provide proof please? From what I gathered, Sergei, Liza's husband (who's been working all his life) funded his family's holiday so they can have a much-needed break, while Andrei gets lots of views from his channel, most viewers are probably from overseas too. The generous donors are just gifting the family but are not supporting their daily needs, they are merely gifts as a thank you to their favourite Russian family. No need to use packed marinade Mommy Olga. You can cook it directly ni needto marinate for 3 hrs. 1pc of Whole chicken 5 cloves of garlic 1 medium onion half cup soy sauce half cup of Vinegar 1 tap sugar. Black pepper bay leaf Sautee or put everything until liquid is reduced. adjust the taste. enjoy. Chicken is cooked in just 10min. you can use pork same process but longer to cook.

Since this family really enjoy Filipino food they should send mama Olga to a Filipino cooking class to learn everything especially with the preparation with each recipe. I noticed mama Olga don’t really know how to prepare portioning the whole chicken the easiest way and most importantly have to wash and clean the chicken properly like rubbing the skin with salt to remove the pin feathers also the slime. I’ve also noticed not using a serving spoon to dish the food from the bowl but using the same cutlery they put in their mouth. I also observed the adults eat first before feeding the kids and the kids just disappear at the table while eating. Mama Olga taste the food using the same spoon she puts in her mouth even when she feed the little one. This is not a criticism but I’m just pointing out my observations. Andrei is much more focused on his nephews looks like he’s a very caring uncle. Daddy Sergei enjoys his food so much that he forgets to feed his children first.

Your family must love onions because you add it in adobo. I've never tried it because adobo only uses plenty of crushed garlic, bay leaves, pepper corn, soy sauce and vinegar. Sometimes a few slices of ginger is added and a bit of sugar for some but never onion. I will try adding onion to my adobo next time to see how it taste.😊

Lumpia is cooked deep fry. You need more oil in a deeper pan and make the oil hot before putting the lumpia.

She still need some training for cooking. When cooking chicken make sure to wash it 2 or 3 tines to remove the smell . When sautéing onion and garlic make sure the garlic and onion are medium brown. The chicken supposed to boil in a separate container . Once the chicken is cooked start taking it out and make it a chicken adobo with ingredients. Black ground pepper, vinegar, soy sauce bay leaves . Pour 3 glasses of water . Covered . Once it’s boiling for 30 minutes, check and taste. Put aside and ready to eat. When cooking or frying egg rolls make sure use 1 egg roll wrapper . Wait until the pan is hot pour or 3 glasses of oil. You have to deep fried the egg rolls so everything will be cooked. You need more training .

You don't need prepared seasoning for adobo. all you need is lots of garlic, onion bay leaves (few pieces), vinegar soy sauce salt and cracked pepper marinate the chicken 30 min or overnight then pour it on the pan together with the marinate add enough water the let it simmer until the chicken is soft or the sauce thicken. Adjust saltiness and sourness depending on your preference. No need to fry :-) (you can also add pork first then add chicken when the pork is soft )

Andrei, this is just a friendly reminder to protect you guys from getting sick. I noticed that Mama Olga did not wash the chicken .And the vegetables that she cooks sometimes are not being washed. The meat should be washed well otherwise you guys are exposed to Salmonella, Hepatitis and food poisoning. Andre , those vegetables are sprayed with insecticides so wash them good as well. Your comment is unnecessary. That was your own personal opinion, not based from actual facts. FYI, rinsing raw meat actually is not a safe method as it can cause high risk of contamination in your kitchen. As long as you boil your chicken properly, that's safe. Do your research please. Do not force your own beliefs into others.

wash the chicken, rub salt then rinse thoroughly in order for chicken to be thoroughly clean
