You can "automatically" plot the linear regression line by selecting GRAPHICS>TWOWAY GRAPH> On the main tab, click CREATE, then select FIT PLOTS and the LINEAR PREDICTION (or LINEAR PREDICTION W/CI if you would like a 95% confidence band). The resulting command looks like this: sysuse auto.dta twoway (lfit mpg weight) twoway (lfitci mpg weight)

Yes, it's easy enough to this as a simple command: graph twoway (scatter wage tenure) (lfit wage tenure). No need to create extra variables actually.

So when do you know when to use linear or logistic regression? Like this example, I’m looking at the relationship between wages and donations to a particular charity and used linear regression but been told log is better . Please help, thanks :)

Can you please, make a video on summary statistics for a single observation with multiple numerical variables? E.g a student registered 6 courses and he got a separate score in each. I want to get the mean, sd, min & max. All the scores are on a row not columns. Thanks. I am new to Stata but I have found your videos to be the best of the best so far.

Yeah. We need commands from the command box rather than going all way from command menu options. So tiresome.
