Y^ is the predicted value for the given x using the constructed linear model (best fit line ). Y is the actual value for the given X. Y-Y^ represents the error.

Thanks for the explanation mam. I have a doubt. How to find the slope and intercept. In this video you have shown slope is 1.28 and intercept is -12 for ice cream.. Can you please help me to understand how you got these values

Tks..If your question is on the best fit line or the regression line, It is defined by identifying slope and intercept for the data..if u r referring 'Y' as the predicted value it is computed based on slope and intercept.. If u r referring ,Y as actual value it is from the dataset
