Dreams do come true if you believe! 😄 But really, its a great option that made the most sense to us for multiple reasons! We loved having our Hawaiian themed Luau reception on the mainland after too. It was fun but also a lot of people which, for us, showed us just how happy we were having a quiet and peaceful wedding with just a few close family members. NO STRESS!!! We hope your dream comes true!!!

Thank you for all the great recommendations! We are planning to elope there in December and don't even know where to start. We want to use a Christian minister as well - VERY important but aren't sure if there are "wedding packages" with a coordinator that has a Christian minister. Do you happen to know a coordinator that can help us?

Hey Kristen. What a great question and we actually don't. BUT We recommend you reach out to Lexi in the video who might know of a coordinator. If you are looking for a Christian minister we highly recommend Pastor Kirk Milhoan. Inquire with him early because he has a busy schedule and may be off the island saving little kids lives. Hey Ines! Thank-you. Congrats for you. Woohoo. What time of year are you going? Whale season is during the winter months so from November to March-ish. So it depends what you like. Fancy or more local/casual? And where will you be staying in Maui. South Side or West Side? Our recommendations for South Maui. Local/casual we recommend Kihei Cafe or Nalu's (which is our favorite place). Both great places for brunch/lunch. Fancy we recommend Fairmont Kea Lani Restaurant in Wailea. Now this might be a little spendy. You could also check out the Andaz resort which has amazing food. Let us know if you have any other questions.

We had a whole bunch of plans like zip lining, parasailing, etc. However we decided to slow down and not let the schedule determine our happiness. Trying to keep a schedule on vacation really takes away from the relaxation. Instead we slowed down and relaxed. For group activities... we canoed, snorkeled a lot, hit the beach, tried all the food spots.

We did a wedding/honeymoon combo which was great financially and because it was a small/intimate wedding on a relaxing tropical island it was 100% STRESS FREE!!! It's amazing. Best choice we ever made!
