Simple Maxscript Tool Creation - 3DS Max Video Tutorial

This is a video tutorial discussing the process of creating simple tools for 3DS max, including making simple scripts, toolbar buttons, and standalone floaters. I'll be covering some basic programming in this, that hopefully will be understandable to someone who has never programmed before, but not be so slow to bother those who have.
I'll be covering the Listener window, how to make scripts, add them to the toolbar, and make tools that can be saved and shared with others.

I did it like you, but i got this error: addRollout requires RolloutClass, got: undefined What's wrong?

you need to use the exact name of the rollout that you defined. Max is unable to find the rollout in your script when you are calling it. It is either not there, or named incorrectly in 1 of the 2 spots. Hope this helps.

+aysikl Not super sure, but Maxscript will print the result of what you do, in addition to what is actually called in the print command. Since that was the last bit of info that was operated on, it prints that. Just like if you do a function like clearlistener() it will return 'true'. That true is the result of the script executed.
