I was at this think the guests were the armoury show? we queued at virgin mega store in the rain for hours for tickets but it was worth it , best days of your life’s but we didn’t know it eh

God I hated the way Jim Kerr started changing the melody on every single track from the mid 80's onwards.. everything just became this freestyle melody drift where you never knew where the melody was going next compared to the recording. Totally infuriating and just ended up making all the live tracks sound samey vocals wise. Why did someone in the band not just go "er Jim, sing the actually melody mate, or shall we all just freestyle our parts as well?"

What a sound and speed change from the year(s) before (think Werchter, Dortmund concerts etc.). Still good but feels slow and lacks macic of the named concerts imo (almost like if Derek and Michael were on their way out). As I said, stilm good but less than previous concerts they did imo.
