Thanks for the Brilliant Video of Simple Minds 🤘I was at the Manchester concert on the 18th March, it was the 1st time I'd seen them live and OMG 😲 😍 they were AMAZING LIVE from the 1st song "WATERFRONT" to the Encore with "ALIVE AND KICKING" and "SANCTIFY YOURSELF" they absolutely SMASHED IT 100% and the Epic "DON'T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME" with all 20thousand fans on their feet singing and booging along with the Jim Kerr will live with me FOREVER..!! I've been to alot of concerts in my time but that was up there with seeing Pink Floyd, Roger Waters and Kings of Leon as the GREATEST CONCERTS I'VE EVER HAD THE PRIVILEGE TO SEE..Pure Ecstasy 😍😋🥴💊 in more ways than one (If you get my drift 🥳) 🤗

This was our second time seeing them live. Jim Kerr still has an amazing voice and it's great to see him still posing and dancing around the stage. Amy didn't know much about them before but is a massive fan now. Check our other Simple Minds video on the channel, it has more of the older stuff on it, all great songs. Thanks for watching and commenting, we love to make these videos for ourselves to relive the experience but it's good to know that other people also enjoy them.

@DavieAmes No worries dude 👌 I've always been into Simple Minds but like you say Jim Kerr's voice was incredible and so powerful + I was watching the girl playing the drums and I was transfixed by her was howling watching her kept thinking of 'Animal' off the Muppets the way she was hammering the drums, maybe the X contributed to the howls of laughter and the tears streaming down my face 🥴🤗😃..Have just booked tickets tonight to see The Killers in the Hydro in Glasgow in June, can't wait not seen them before apart from on TV in concert and the 2 lads I'm going with have seen them before and said they are 1 of the best bands live, Brandon Flowers was born to be a front man in a rock band, certain people were just born to be rockstars..!! I'll try and upload some vids, if I can keep it together 🤘✌️🤩

Here what your saying but times change and original band members may not be interested in be part of Simple Minds no more as life gives you other opportunities and the musicians they brought in Smashed it in Manchester and the concert in scale of Sound , Ambience and Energy and Lights and Visiuals made this an EPIC LIVE PERFORMANCE /CONCERT..!! I think the fans showed in videos of the Gig how much the Band Smashed it ..!! Specially the big hitters like ALIVE and KICKING, SANCTIFY YOURSELF and LA LA LA LA LAH DONT YOU FORGET ABOUT ME...!! CLASSICS, and BOOK OF BRILLIANT THINGS to name but to a few ..The fans were bouncing the last 30/40mins and Encore..!! 💙💙💙

I followed the band round the uk and Europe from the late 80’s on. I don’t bother anymore. Shame, if you read or listen to why Mick, Derek, Mel and even Brian magee are not with Jim and Charlie anymore you understand the situation. The original big sound of Simple Minds was thought up and generated by Mick MacNeil and Derek Forbes. If you want to hear Simple Minds look at Mick’s youtube channel, it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up when he plays alive and kicking on piano or street fighting years.
