Why oh why was this show never fimed. Still we can be thankful for this audio recording. In the famous words from Hawkye to BJ..I will never shake you. I have never ever been able to shake this band. So blessed are we to share their path.

No worries, I'd assume so, would need to check my tape of the 1st night. Things could have been altered in post production.

@@LostMinds2368 I'm looking forward to that 1st night, to see how far did the overdubs went to LITCOL. I wish they'd officially release both nights with new mixes and much less overdubs (though it is still one of my favourite live albums ever).

If this concert, or parts of it, were used for the live album, they must have re-recorded many of Jim Kerr's vocals. Some of Sun City sounds similar to the live album, as does Dance to the Music, but his phrasing is very different in the other songs. It'd be interesting to hear the first night if anyone has it.

Derek Forbes re-recorded the bass for Someone, Somewhere in Summertime for LITCOL even though he'd left the band, though the version on there wasn't from Paris. It was cheekily referred to as "Fixing and Mixing" on the sleevenotes. I did hear one version of events, however, that suggested Robin Clark's OTT backing vocals caused some problems by "leaking" onto the other audio tracks. You can hear a lot of her barely-audible vocals filtering through very low down in the mix on some songs.

I believe they only played the slow version a few times on the tour. Only other version I have heard is from the San Siro stadium.
