Simple Minds - Royal Arena, Copenhagen - April 8, 2024

I had goosebumps from the first second of the concert, which was even more spectacular than their 2022 concert here, making it "the best concert ever" to me together with a couple of others (Nick Cave and Arcade Fire). I ran out of battery on my phone and did not record the two last songs of the concert (Alive and Kicking and Sanctify Yourself).

The best Simple Minds concert ever! All the excellent songs go together, and the recording quality is FIRST CLASS too! And as for the EXTENDED version of Belfast Child, it comes into its own BECAUSE of bbeing extended, and should ALWAYS be performed like that! And the accoustics of this concert hall go perfectly with the echoey sound of this band!

I saw them in London a few weeks ago at the O2 arena and agree this has been their best tour for me by way of performance and setting etc. I first saw them in 1986 and that's always lived with me and seen them numerous times since but this tour is without a doubt one of their best !!

I was at the belgian gig of this tour (05/04/2024) but not so close to the podium. SM will be forever a marvellous band with the greatest sounds. ❤❤❤❤❤
