Simple Minds have been musical pioneers for 40 glittering years. Catching the mood of the post-punk era, when the angry sounds of 1977 were splintering into a thousand different shapes, they emerged with a style rooted in the art-rock of David Bowie and the electronic dance of Donna Summer. They went on to become one of the great bands of their generation, deploying rousing choruses and booming atmospherics to provide a soundtrack that has endured. They topped the American chart with Don't You (Forget About Me) and followed suit in the UK with the Ballad Of The Streets EP (featuring Belfast Child). It is amazing, after 45 years they produce such an EPIC song !! I first saw them live in Tiffany's Ballroom in Glasgow in 1981 just as they were becoming well known. I was pretty sure they were going to become massive but who would have thought they'd still be producing songs like this over 40 years later!? Incredible. Rock on boys!!

I'm from Brazil, in my retro music days, Simple minds was in the top 10. Nowadays I haven't lost anything of its essence, I'm still current as always, only if I won. As a great architect was here in Brazil, Oscar Niemeyer. "To be simple is to be sophisticated" so simple mind will always get my price, even more so releasing cassette tapes. And the back vocals have all the credits, possible and imaginable on the face of the earth, they sing a lot!!

This is the type of music radio stations should be blasting. Because social media isn't doing this justice. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS! WHY!!!? This song should be at least at 750k, if not a million. More people like this music, then we tend to lead on.
