I LOVE THIS SONG. I want cry, every time I hear this. Its amazing. And I think its a pity that its not more popular. Its not fair, that songs from David Gueta, Maroon 5, One Direction, Nicky Minaj and more nowaday singers, are more popular and this. When you think about lyrics of some songs thats popular now, you see that its about nothing. Just alcohol, drugs, or nothing at all. But Simple Plan has good lyrics in their songs. I have been a fan of simple plan since the beginning. They got pretty big around the time I was in middle school, which was hard for me not just because I didn't fit in and was bullied, but I also had a lot of problems with my family & was dealing with anxiety, ADHD, anger problems, &depression which I still deal with to this day. Much of their earlier songs were cathartic to me but also all relatable in some small way. Welcome to my life, I'm just a kid & save you were a few I particularly related to and listened to quite frequently. It was a small thing, but made a difference in that dark period of my life. This song, though, is simple, but says so much. So many things in my life, just like many other people, have broken and beaten me down for so long, and the one thing that has always kept me going was hope. I have always believed that while having hope is far from perfect, it is all we have that means anything when the world is against us. This song isn't saying hope will fix

I think that the right way to interpret this song is that everyone around you feels this way. Everyone else thinks that their life is hard and that everyonne has is easy.
