Many people are ashamed of their angsty teen phase and what they listened to back then. I'm not. Simple Plan was right there beside me as I discovered all the ways the world had lied to me as a child. Total strangers who may as well have been from another world, calling out from the void with, well, a simple message: "You're right, it *doesn't* make sense." I've been listening to Simple Plan for about ten years now - I first found them when I was 14 and passing through a very hard time of my life. As so many other fans of the band, their music helped me (and my best friend, also having a hard moment then) go through it all - suicidal thoughts included. After that, I wanted so hard to learn to really speak English so I could thank them and, up until now, three shows later, havent had the chance of doing it. The fact that they made this song puts my heart so much at ease - just because they know it. I dont need to tell them because they already know it all
