Lyrics: Do you ever feel like breaking down? Do you ever feel out of place? Like somehow you just don't belong And no one understands you Do you ever want to run away? Do you lock yourself in your room? With the radio on turned up so loud That no one hears you screaming No you don't know what its like When nothing feels alright You don't know what its like to be like me To be hurt, to feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one there to save you No you don't know what its like Welcome to my life Do you want to be somebody else? Are you sick of feeling so left out? Are you desperate to find something more Before your life is over Are you stuck inside a world you hate? Are you sick of everyone around? With the big fake smiles and stupid lies But deep inside you're bleeding No you don't know what its like When nothing feels alright You don't know what its like to be like me To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one there to save you No you don't know what its like Welcome to my life No one ever lied straight to your face And no one ever stabbed you in the back You might think I'm happy But I'm not gonna be okay Everybody always gave you what you wanted You never had to work it was always there You don't know what its like What its like To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one there to save you No you don't know what its like What its like To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what its like Welcome to my life Welcome to my life Welcome to my life

I have autism and sometimes I feel like I I’m not fully understood, and people just see my autistic part of my but that’s only one thing about me, luckily my parents had the love and patience for me and I thank them everyday for the love they gave me and tired to take the item to understand me.

Hey men , I'm autistic too and I've been working on my feelings and trying to understend myself first before trying to make the others understand me for about 10 years now. I have to say that the most important thing is to take the time to explain yourself and be patient . Yes they need to be open to your Ideas but you also need to be open to reiterate whatever you want to say. And like you said , autism is only one part of us , and it's realy a good idea to starts exploring who are you as an individual and what makes you the person that you are today. For exemple , I'm someone that will help other people resolve their problems but I know wen to laught too. My friends and my ex-girlfriends says that I'm somewhat like a child but I find it ok and I embrase it .Hopefully you will find yourself one day , but you will need a lot of work on yourself . I recomend Jet-pack jay don't be hard on yourself if you're going trough rough times ^^

I enjoy the comments on this video. The song says "You don't know what it's like to feel like me". And by the fact that a lot of people don't seem to grasp the concept of the song, it seems that the song is right. To be hurt and not daring to scream, lest your problems are cancelled out because others have it worse. Because for some reason, that makes sense. To feel lost because we are all expected to know where we're going and what we want in life, but in truth we don't know what we're doing. To be left out in the dark because people say that "You won't understand". To be kicked when you're down for saying that you're hurting, and your problems made into mere selfishness because "others have it worse". To feel like you've been pushed around when nobody seems to understand, when you're forcefully pushed into a reality that you're not ready for. Somehow that's life. But most of the time, it's when you're pushed by people who think "it's about time". To be on the edge of breaking down and no one's there to save you, because others have it worse. Because they don't understand. Because you're not allowed to have problems. Because you're not allowed to feel sad or angry or be emotional, because for some stupid reason all that's cancelled out when "someone else has it worse" or, perhaps because "It's not a real problem". No, you don't know what it's like. Welcome to my life. We're allowed to feel emotions. Our problems are not cancelled out by other's. How does that even work anyway. Emotions are natural. Don't try stop people from feeling sad, happy, angry or whatever. It makes the happy feel sad, the sad feel worse and the Angry be angrier. Attention is something we all want, every now and then. Some more than others. In other words : We're all allowed to complain and feel emotions and have problems. Bye.

So, that's it! Bagaimana menurutmu? Enjoy, sit down and pay attention to the track you're listening to. Enjoy it with your body and mind. Close your eyes. The activity in the emotional center of the brain (Amygdala) is about 75% higher when listening to music with eyes closed.

Special thanks to @Simple Plan. This song has helped me through more than you may ever know. Even now in my mid 30s these lyrics still speak volumes to my soul. “I can’t stand another fight, and nothing’s alright” “Nothing’s gonna change the things that you said, and nothing’s gonna make this right again” Just incredible how powerful those words are when spoken to someone who lives the struggle of not being the able to live up to the expectations placed.

listening on 2021 Do you ever feel like breaking down?

Most lives are an upphil battle, be it you are born in the gutter or born a billionare. Nothing is ever as easy as movies and such wil portray it. everyone goes trough things, what you might laugh at might be someones worst moment in their life. Im not trying to say anything negative here, glad to hear you are moving forward, im right there with you pushing onwards. Just try not to reach the top of that hill, because there never is a top and that drive can be depressing, finding yourself and be content with how you are even as you strive ever forward is the sign of a brave strong person. I hope your life will have many good things it and memories you can look fondly upon.

@valj1379 жыл бұрын
Reading the comments, I got sad. This was the song that kept me alive. I didn't go through a fake "emo phase". I was literally depressed. I hated my house. I hated my family. I had no true friends with whom I could share absolutely everything with. I felt trapped and imprisoned and breathless. The only thing I could depend on in life was God, and books, and music. And this song was top on my list whenever I had my worst days. During that time of my life, a classmate of mine, someone who was probably dealing with the same issues, asked me what did I do when I got depressed? I said, "Music." He goes, "Me too!" I told him about this song, my lifeline, my air. He looked unimpressed and began singing Christina Aguilera's Beautiful. That was when I realised that even with a fellow depression-sufferer, I couldn't connect. When I'm down, it felt good to be pushed deeper. To make myself sadder, with my own choices, not the choices that were written in stone without my consent. I didn't go to uplifting music in my lowest times. I sought a lower than lowest. I wanted Tartarus when I was already in the Underworld. I wanted my heart to be tormented to the point of numbing. To bleed until it loses its ability to produce the essence of livelihood. Pushing myself deeper into the ground was my way of lifting myself up from the horrible world. I could soar by burying myself alive. Oxygen only filled my lungs when I couldn't breathe for crying too hard. I felt most alive when I felt most dead. And this song helped me to do just that. So seeing the comments and realising that once again I can't connect with others, you'll get why I'm disappointed. Sigh...

Because of awkward moments and unfortunate situations and yatta yatta basically I can relate and the only thing that helped me was not only thinking about myself and but I forced myself to go through 5 weeks where I would only think positive thoughts. You may not believe but when I finally started to tell myself good things I actually started to believe it. If I had a negative thought I would say "that's not true, who got straight As This girl, If I can get an A in that bs class than I can do this simple task" I would shove positive thoughts Most importantly I got rid of everything that reminded me of my troubles I saw the light in everything even if I wanted to "kill myself" ( yes low points in meh life" I fricken forced myself to be happy Honestly it got to the point when I was incapable of holding down a convo Eh eh. But after 5weeks of happy thoughts and watching positive tv shows and doing stuff to better myself Like taking an extra course and getting my l tbh I spent more time

This song reminds me so many moments. Back when I was 14, laying on the couch and watching that music video all day long on MTV and on their official SP website during holidays. I had a big crush on David the bassist and Pierre the lead singer and I had so many posters of them on my walls, listening to their albums every evenings, trying to improve my English in order to understand the lyrics... Now I’m 25 and these times flew so fast. These were good old days.. 😌
@prettymind.14056 жыл бұрын
no these aren't the good old days because I'm also 14 laying on the couch but I'm crying my eyes out because this song and band feel like the only things that actually know what I'm going through right now :(

I heard this song for the first time in ninth grade in 2010-2011. My then best friend and I fell out a few years later but I will always be thankful for her listening to me and how I was feeling at the time… and she said this is a song I would relate to and I described my feelings. It’s been so long since I have listened to this song.

let me start by saying i know some shitty people and i'm pretty close to going insane so... well anyway there are these people that keep telling people my secrets and talking to me in class and when they do either of thoose thing i a) get pissed off or b) get in trouble for random shit i didn't do and these people said i could trust them and then they go getting me in trouble and telling people private thing and so i'm here like "don't punch them madisen, dont punch them" and everyday before i go to school i have to pray i dont hurt anyone. these people said they could be my friend and there is like 2 people i can really trust and i feel like i'm going to fucking go crazy and nobody seems to care for dear fucking god. good enough reason for you? +ForsakenGod96

I relate to this at the age of 12 my life, I just want it to restart I don’t care how, I want to die, I can’t explain why but it’s so depressing to have no one ever relate to you and the the people you think can help are the sole problem, I just wish I could leave everything behind, and get no one would notice cause I’m like an ant in this world
