I love a great fabric find! I do save 3 inch squares. Sometimes I need more 1.5" and a 3 inch square yields four!

I think making this center portion and repeating the block might be interesting plus it would make this much larger. Any ideas of how I might do this. Perhaps a new video might be best. Tku Lizzi

I love the pattern, but the brown and blue was not for me.

But if we follow her thought process our colour choices will depend on what fabric we have for a background and a consistent contrast colour for the chains. It could be anything maybe navy background with a ,say , spotted cream fabric. The world is our oyster. I shall look at my stash and see what yardage I have of solids and prints to chose them . Then I can go through my squares either 2 1/2" or 1 1/2" that will contrast with both my main fabrics. Goodness know what I will end up with but that is part of the fun in my opinion.

Yup, they were a muted combo, but maybe you have some fabrics in your stash that will be just perfect! Have fun!
