It's fun how he plays super unpredictable. One moment he's doing perfectly clean kills, the next moment he makes the worst kill and got cleared for it because "5up doesn't make such a bad kill"... It's a very unpredictable pattern and that means it doesn't always work it sometimes even works against his favor. And that's why it's fun to watch.

It's a joke about DnD campaigns where the DM will introduce an NPC that was supposed to be a throwaway gag (Goblin named Fartbuckle) but then the party decides that the character is their best friend and make him their companion character. He's mostly there for shits and giggles as a "pet" of sorts. Fartbuckle's story specifically is that the party has their backs against the wall against an extremely powerful sentient magic crystal and the IRL group is just like "damn that stinks, guess we lost this campaign guys." Then the DM mentions "Fartbuckle" for the first time in 3 sessions. Every head at the table looks over in horror as the DM narrates Fartbuckle's actions: He approaches the crystal undetected, hand outstretched. The party yells out in anguish, telling Fartbuckle to get away; the crystal will self-destruct if anyone touches it. Fartbuckle ignores their pleas. He draws closer, the energy emanating from the crystal starting to disintegrate the flesh on his bones. Just before he touches it with a small, bony finger, he utters: "I... save... friends," "Fartbuckle... is... happy." As he touches the crystal, a smile of pure contentment and satisfaction spreads across his face, and a single tear falls from his closed eyes, running halfway down his cheek before the blast of the crystal vaporizes him completely. The party will survive this encounter, but at the cost of their greatest companion, the brave little goblin who they so often took for granted over the course of their journey. Fartbuckle the Hero. Fartbuckle, the friend.
