Simple spiral ring - How to make jewelry from copper wire by Lan Anh Handmade
The length and diameter used depends on the size of the ring you want to make.
This ring only uses one wire, so it is necessary to use large diameter wire to ensure the hardness and durability of the product, most suitable is the diameter of 1.1 - 1.3mm ( 18 - 16 gauge)
You can cut diagonally wire to wire finish getting smaller
In the video I use :
16 gauge ( wire diameter 1,3mm ) : 9cm (3,5 inch)
Ring diameter 1.7cm
TIPS :
Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product

I don't understand your question, You want to ask, if the ring size is bigger than your finger, what to do? You can use duct tape or silicone to thicken the back of the ring (on the inside of your palm) so it can fit on your finger.

Two Questions: The gage of your wire seems larger and stiffer than the wire I have bought with a similar gage. Is it the type of wire or the manufacturer? How do you keep the pliers from marring the metal and leaving marks?

Maybe your wire and my are not the same. I used to round copper wire - magnet wire (type of wire not used to make jewelry, Its price is very cheap) . it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time This is a skill you need to practice a lot. You need to choose an appropriate force to bend the wire, should limit the use of pliers, should use your hands to bend so that the wire is naturally bent and leaves no marks. sometimes unavoidable to leave a mark, you should leave the mark where it is least visible

Я не знаю точно, какой это был тип, может быть обычная медная проволока, она имеет слой гальванического покрытия и не темная по времени Вы можете изменить в соответствии с материалом, который у вас есть
