My favorite build with plaything is for pyramid head. Plaything, retribution, lethal pursuer, and nurses. Plaything and nurses to hit people through walls, lethal for a strong start and longer retribution, and broken playthings give you retribution readings. You could get a total of 60 seconds of total aura reading in a match if you are lucky!

Dude I feel like Hex: Plaything in general is one of the best killer perks in the game, because it's good on every killer, it's a gen slowdown by providing them an extra objective at times, or make them lose their ability to detect how close you are to them.

The last endgame are the most fun situations you can have in Dead By Daylight. The way they make your heart rate go up as killer and the survivors trying their absolute best to save someone. You never know when a mistake has been made and the tables turn, ahhh I hate this game.

Survivor's are even trying...They have no danger at all, that's why they try to rescue everyone while injured and Otz BARELY got a 2nd kill just because they are safe and they can just waste all the time they want

Change Corrupt to Ruin to make sure you have 5 totems. Then use the ability to quickly move around the map and get full 5. Also could use something like Devour, but Ruin is good for early pressure

The problem with that is that if you wait to get all 5, the game is pretty close to over. The best effect from pentimento comes from the first totem, so it’s usually just not worth trying to throw the game for

Ambitious but in practice, useless. Don't go for 5 stacks of pentimento... It never happens and when it does, its rarely worth it. Is it fun? Is it a personal achievement? Yes and Yes.

I used to run this build for some days with the exception of Corrupt being replaced by Bamboozle (because it's priceless to see survs running to blocked windows and then having to turn around. Also without it this game feels like Scooby Doo to me. You know, the gag with the gang and the bad guy coming in and out of the 6 doors). Pretty fun indeed, but don't suit my playstyle, specially now that Nowhere to Hide is in the game. Thanks for the vid :)

I honestly feel similar to builds which go heavy on aura finding, it's less fun when the killer knows exactly where people are, obvs there's counterplay in stuff like broken record but idk man, especially for newer players who might be unaware it even exists and it just becomes too much IMO

I play wesker a lot, maybe more than other killers, and i can't play without playthings because is so good on wesker, even better in closed maps because sometimes u can oneshot with the power doing a jumpscare dash

I guess maybe it is just my lower MMR but I've been playing Mastermind a few times over the past couple of days and tons of people just outright ignore my terror radius. I walk right up to them and while I might not get a grab I do get a lot of free hits. I guess because the T.R. is so huge people just start to ignore it. I know I've found myself thinking "Oh, it's a Mastermind, I don't need to worry about the T.R. just yet like I do with other Killers." and have to sort of not do that. What I'm saying is Plaything probably wouldn't do much for me. Midwich hooks are so messed up because of the floors, I really wish the devs would tweak the spawn logic so two extra hooks spawn on that map so you don't run into the case of having one hook in the corner of the map on the bottom floor and two hooks on the floor in the corner above it. Or have the basement screw you over by having NO hooks in the bottom area of that map and THREE on the floor above. Thanks for the video Otz!

Idk, that first game looked a bit like a solo q nightmare. The hard tunnel on the Nea, into the Rebecca giving up on her second hook, and the Meg of course dropping everything to stealth it out and let Jill eat shit alone. Meg was of course using fucking Mettle of Man and only seen once in the entire match lol

What if corrupt intervention changed from the start of the game to activating randomly after a generator is complete the chance becoming 100% when 1 generator is left blocking the three closest gens allowing for the killer to set up slightly in the middle of the game instead of a needed rush at the start?

During the second game a Nea crouched while you were using your power and you missed her afterwards and were confused as to why. The reason for this is because you can crouch tech Wesker, and reduce your chances of getting hit by his power significantly when you do. What is a crouch tech? Quite simply knowing when to crouch to reduce your chances of getting hit, you can crouch tech Demo shreds, you can crouch tech BIlly chainsaws, you can crouch tech Blight rushes. A nice but of information to know against these killers.

I'd swap out Corrupt Intervention for Deadlock, No Way Out, or Sloppy Butcher. Sloppy Butcher gives slowdown regardless of how you attack enemies as Wesker which is massive and means you don't have to waste time trying too hard going for those M2 attacks. This way you get value regardless. Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain could also be great to make gens even slower and give that Sloppy Butcher effect if you're confident enough in your M2s and Scourge Hook RNG.

From 3:36-3:40 in the video, you can hear a heartbeat that I assume is a survivor's heartbeat, what causes a killer to hear/see that?

That is a mechanic called Killer Instinct. Like auras, killer instinct is used to locate survivors, showing you their general location. Unlike auras, killer instinct cannot be affected by perks and may only be changed with add-ons. Killer instinct is only caused by killer powers. In this case, a survivor sprayed themselves to remove infection. Cleansing weskers infection triggers killer instinct.

@@Arcturian_Kush Since a larger terror radius makes it harder to distinguish how close you actually are and with weskers power being basically silent and high mobility, only hearable unless youre really close, you can use that to cover large parts of a map with debuff perks without it being an active detriment to your chase power A terror radius that you will always hear takes away the feeling of danger being in your way because youll get desensitized by it being constantly on and that can also be used to catch someone off guard
