The layouts are dynamic for all phone sizes. However if u are designing the app for tablets, you need to make a custom layout to make use of the full screen width.

I am getting an error in the SubjectActivity.java where SubjectAdapter is changed to red color... How to rectify this...?

Make sure you are writing the adapter outside all other functions. It should be enclosed in only the main outer class.
