Thanks, just what I needed. I had to use a custom emission shader, since my scene already had an existing lighting setup. I recreated the look you are going for with this: Geometry Node (Normal) -> Mapping Node (Change Y Rotation to 90) -> Gradient Texture (Fac) -> ColorRamp (Select a bright blue and a white color) -> Emission -> Material Output

this didn't work for me but if anyone is having the same problem i fix it by doing a texture coordinate (generated) into the mapping and the color ramp plug into a principled bsdf AND emission, and then mix them with a mix shader. Also I recomend making a plane with the same material so you can see more easy hoy the gradiant is affecting the object.

Thanks for this cute clouds tutorial! I am new to blender, and I wonder how to bring these clouds to Unity so I can get the same lighting effect...

How can you keep the lighting on the model? If I bake it in cycles the colour goes away and goes blurry?

Can I import the light/color settings to UE4 if I wanted to have them there? Or do I need to make a separate shader in there again.
@TutsByKai4 жыл бұрын
I believe you'd have to remake them, unless UE4 has implemented a new importing feature since I last used it!

@@seriouseffectt I think you can add the solidify modifier and change it to complex and from constraint to fixed
