AL BROOKS, A BRILLIANT MAN SPENT 12 years of his life studying indicators and even invented several. Finally he threw in the towel, concluding, PRICE ACTION IS FAR MORE EFFECTIVE. Price action? He was mainly referring to candlesticks but also trends, classical price patterns etc. Notice, Oliver does not implement indicators...Bear in mind, Al Brooks pulled down a degree in mathematics from Trinity U. Given his knowledge of math, he firmly believed he could conquer the world of indicators...after all, they are simply mathematical formulas depicted in visual lines and shapes....HE FAILED.
