Hey mate! How much does actual strength v technique matter? I feel like ive got a fairly consistent technique with my set shots, yet i can only manage 35-40m on a good day. Im a shorter bloke but see blokes like higgins and bobby hill kick 50+. But yeah, do you think I should work significantly on strength or try and prioritise technique before the season starts.

If you have a decent technique, then it will be about increasing your foot speed to get more distance. Doing explosive exercises like the ones in this video or in my kicking guide will help a lot!
