Hello. I have done my mbbs from mmu solan. I can tell you paeds is good there. But in general the entire college has a very toxic environment. Patient load in paeds is mediocre and professors are very good. One of the better branches in the college

@@HD-fd7xt the management sucks. There are 4-5 people in management who behave like they own the world. Some cases of harrasment in the college but were dismissed because management intervened and honestly no one knew what happened. It is not a huge medical college so any little piece of gossip will reach anyone and everyone and maybe 10% of it will be true. But honestly paeds is one of the good branches in terms of toxicity as well. HOD, professors, APs as well, all are really good. Be wary of your seniors though. Also try not to get involved with interns or MBBS students, it hasn't bode well for a lot of PGs in my time. If you're a person from mountains, you won't take much time to adjust. Having own vehicle will be really beneficial, because otherwise you'll end up doing a lot of unnecessary uphill downhill walking every day. The hostels and residences are good because they're newly built. The location is good in terms that you'll witness amazing sunsets most of the time. Weather wise a great place. Honestly wouldn't recommend this college if it was some other branch, but paeds is good. If I had the resources, I would go for it
