simple trick to make your render more epic

That's really nice! Only thing I had looking at the image is the sun shining through those waves. It feels like there is a light or sun below the water, perhaps because the wave doesn't seem to be that high?!?

thank you! the ocean is largely due to the shader and lighting combined. you need to make sure your light is pointing toward the camera, preferably using an HDRI. the shader setup for the ocean is very simple, you can find it here: pasteall.org/pic/61e5cc3b85d9494994bad4673278f2e2

please note I'm using the ocean modifier to generate the waves, and this shader will work best if you use that modifier as well. if you use some other way of generating the waves you will need to disable the "FOAM" component of the shader.
