My favorite for crayons, markers, dot marker, pencils, glue, chalk, white board marker, brushes, pipecleaner, etc is an over the door shoe organizer. On the bottom, I store the stuff they're allowed to take by themselves, on the top all the stuff they only can have supervised. Works really well and highly reduces the amount of boxes needed to store their arts and crafts stuff.

Those bins (that she has the paper in) ... big square ones are $5 at michaels. Also, in my experience, Ross is a great place for craft storage.

How do you organize puzzles? My kids have over 20 and they are all in ziploc bags😐

For big wooden puzzles like for toddlers I store them on tote boxes with dividers for 2-3 puzzles. But the bigger 200+PC I use puzzle travel mats to keep them up when not being worked on. I also have an open up table for them to do bigger puzzles that can be closed up over the puzzle so little ones can't get into it and lose pieces.

When I worked at a daycare (not the same as parenting Ik) the ziploc bag method was what worked best for me. I would put a number or symbol on the bag and on the back of each puzzle piece so we knew which bag a loose piece belonged in. I tried dollar tree ziplocs but those tore in a few days. The actual thick ziploc bags worked really well

I know right?!? I feel horrible for throwing out their creations but with 5 kids I can't keep them all. I keep them out for show for the week and then put in their keepsake bins and the ones I don't want I offer it and say here put in your room.... but... yeah.... it's just all over. Lol

@Donna Bolt same. I file ours. But it's okay to throw some away too! 😆 Especially the super scribbley ones. And those are special too. But I put those on the fridge for a bit and then toss them.

I have a display book where they can select and paste their own lovely pictures. I'm still figuring out the bigger things but they usually end up broken and in the bin file 🤣
