I like duos because they are easier. Picking 4 or 5 colors from a pallette is more overwhelming. I'm not creative enough.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes its a bit too much effort haha! When I'm feeling like that I try to figure what colour I want to wear first. I then pick a light and dark version of that colour eyeshadow. Next I pick a light shade to highlight and then a darker tone to add some depth. xx

Another trick- instead of using a card or sticky tape? You can just use some face powder - tap it on the outer edge and it will prevent the eyeshadow from moving outside of the area you want it to stop at. 🩷🤎🩷🤎
