I am really finding it difficult to sketch 'cos I always focus on details too much. This video was actually eye-opening for me - I don't need all these details, just shapes! and I can change shapes as much as I want or like, this is amazing, such a simple idea but I couldn't get it myself. Thanks a ton!! Very inspiring!

Another nice one❤. How long do you let the paint dry before adding the next layer?
@SketchingScottie Жыл бұрын
I use a hair dryer to quickly dry the paint so it only takes 20 seconds or so😊

Not urban sketch. It’s a sketch of a photo

Urban sketching definition: drawing the world around you. Your breakfast, your dog, your garage, whatever. No rules in art.

It is a tutorial : ) I specifically looked for urban sketching with REFERENCE just to understand how artists interpret things we see in the world with one rough line 😅 Amazing art form! Has had my mind blown for several years and now I have the privilege of watching the interpretation unfold. Looks so mind bogglingly simple but these pros are like magicians with their tools. 😅 I'll keep practicing n watching! Cheers!
