This one breaks the rules! She's different alright. It is common to find hot bubbling springs in Dominica as a result of our volcanic nature. But on the Northern portion of the island, there is this gem that you want to visit. Here, it's bubbly, you smell the sulphur, you hear the 'boiling' sound, you can almost taste the sulphur - but is it HOT or NOT?

Very informative video. Some years ago, I passed through the area and when I got to the village ,there was road blockage, and I had to turned back. A lady asked me for a lift to Portsmouth, and some elderly men in the village asked that she show us snakes in Cold Soufriere. She declined as she once visited there and there were snakes of all description, which haunts her to this day. I found the weather in that areas to be somewhat like the desolate areas in Wales and the Moors in the UK.

It's my first time hearing stories of snakes in the area but if there are, I am comforted by the fact that there are no venomous species here on island 😊 I feel bad for the lady though - the fear is real.
