@@EarOpener thanx a lot! i am very curious to see more ...especially about arranging rock-songs, tension/balance, writing vocal-lines etc... i appreciate your expertise...and your ability to boil it down to an essence...there is oodles of videos an youtube focussing on the nullities ("is the neumann tlm 103 really good enough to write a good song?")... one question: is it possible and would it cost, if i sent you songs, so you could give me critical comments for my improvement?

Sorry Gregor, only just caught this. You are not the first person to ask this. We are thinking of setting up a service of some kind - you can email me on admin@clodensemble.com , tell me roughly how many tracks and how long they are, I can see if it will be possible. EO

I found your channel a few months ago and I'm always coming back to rewatch all these valuable and really well done lessons, interviews and examples. This is really great work, thank you so much for all the effort you're putting into this project! You're really helping people here. Will there be more videos in the future? Really can't thank you enough for sharing this stuff with us for free. Best wishes from Germany

I would like to note simple vs complex exists not only in music alone but with other elements. For example, artists like Spears, the Jackson dynasty, and Knowles (maybe?), were not as vocally virtuous as Carey, Huston and Grande, but made up for it with their intense choreographies and exciting music videos. Their instrumentals are still pop worthy.

Interesting point. Can't agree with you about Beyonce, though :) . . .I don't think her visual chutzpah is about compensating for weak vocals. She would have done very well in the radio era! EO

Really insightful video. A good arranged song is the beautiful combination of tracks and sounds, not a messy composition of beautiful tracks and sounds. these rules are also applied in other aspects of life, like fineart.

@@EarOpener Thanks for the feedback as well. I wanted to ask if it's possible to find the presentation of the musician you'd promoted a couple of weeks ago. I looked for the page to watch the concert but it wasn't available or the website had an error.

Hii, I really love this channel!! i hope to see you grow very fast, i do have one point of improvement: it would be nice if there were less fade-ins and -outs of the Logo For me, It takes the rhythm out of the video Anyway, great stuff!!!

Thanks Lorenzo - enjoy exploring the channel. I know what you mean about the logo. We found it helped visually when cutting to interviewees - but maybe it slows things down. Thanks for the feedback EO
