Two mistakes in the steps : 1. Wrong way of piercing the cuttings into the sand filling the pot. May damage/kink the stem due to force applied. 2. Why to damage the pot when the cuttings can easily be taken out of pot by hitting the pot base gently with the palm of the hand in upside down position. Moreover sand was finally removed with water pressure.

I'm surprized that you didn't use rooting hormone. I just ordered some a totalof 5 cuttings with minimal roots from a vendor off of Etsy. I potted them up - after liberally applying rooting hormone - in some MiracleGro cactus and succulent mix with about 1/3 additional perlite, but I skipped the antifungal step. I wonder if later, after they've grown a bit, apply some of it afterward or when I pot them up to a larger container? It's Oct 20, 2022 here in Lake Charles, LA, where we enjoy a truly subtropical climate. We just had an unseasonable cold "snap" where the night time temps dropped into the high 30's for a couple of nights almost setting records for Lake Charles so early in the fall. I brought them indoors for those nights, as I didn't want to stress them too much this early in their development. Great channel, BTW. I've both "liked" and subscribed. Good luck with your great channel! 🪴

Hey, I be read your message today 10/22/22, ll in Virginia, I ve just cut some cutting too, and will try to grow them through the fall and winter, I already had the root hormones and will try it too, don’t know exactly which kind of sand though. I hope they will survived

Less water, no over watering, as per climate n session its grow, not for ever wear as i understand, but try with care, keep in full sunlight half of day. May u got ur answer? Its my experience
@vicm65612 жыл бұрын
Thought mine was dead , got left out in Florida summer rains . Oops so here is how I brought it back to life . Cut off all the mushy part( mine was almost the whole root area , nothing to loose by trying ) with a sharp clean knife. Make sure you get it down to good flesh all the rot has to go. Coat the “wound “ with cinnamon YES cinnamon ! Set out in sun ......don’t let it get wet . The bulb will firm back up. After about a week of letting it sit in sun put it in a pot ( not too big they like it tight) of cactus mix or good drawing medium . DO NOT WATER for 2 weeks , so it’s just sitting in soil ready for water but NO water . At 2 weeks you can start watering about 1/2 c of water a week ... if the soil feels dry if not don’t water . This WORKED I saved mine and now it’s getting ready to bloom and has beautiful green leaves . These are dessert plants water accordingly learned my lesson

Agar cutting ko pahle se air dry kiya hua hai 3-4 din ke liye to aap turant paani de sakte ho... Ya aap fresh cutting ko turant lagana chahte ho, (jisme cutting ko air dry nahi kiya ho) , to aapko paani 3-4 din baad dena hoga.

Cut the long branches & use water soluble NPK 19:19:19 fertilizer in every 7-12 days... Just sprinkle pinch of NPK fertilizer in soil media & water your plants... You can also add bone meal fertilizer in your soil media in every 3-4 months...

Please let me know, at the time of placing cuttings in these no watering is necessary upto 4 or 5 days. Please clarify.
@GardeningNeedsPatience9 ай бұрын
Hello, if you are transplanting the adenium branches in soil media, immediately after taking the cutting from the plant , then there is no need to water it for 2-4 days. Just follow the process as shown in this video.... Alternatively, you can air dried those cutting in shade for 2-4 days, then apply fungicide powder & repot it in sand. Now in this process you can water immediately after repotting, no need to wait..

hello good afternoon, adenium from cuttings can get caudex or just only root?
@je51072 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can get a caudex, but it’ll take a very long time and you will clearly see the demarcation line where it was initially cut and the new roots/caudex started growing.
@alokkumardixit89752 жыл бұрын
no, caudex only form in seed grown adeniums
@Maxroffe56 Жыл бұрын
Adeniums are not hard to root but will not have the swollen trunk. Only plants grown from seeds will.
