Question: in the video you mention he can hear us speak out loud, but not hear our silent prayers...what if you pray out loud? Can the devil not hear any prayer, even prayer spoken out loud, because it is directed to God? Or can he hear prayer if it's out loud because it is audible? Thanks.

The prayer is directed to God so he has no way of knowing even tho is aloud.

That’s the first step is acknowledging our flaws. God gifts us with a conscience. It’s hard in the midst of our own minds going against as well as these demonic influences around us tempting us at every corner. God gives us the strength to counteract the thoughts and actions, it grows stronger with prayer. 🙏🏼

Not sure if the devil can read our minds or not, but he can certainly influence our thoughts.

He has access to our emotions and bodies. Therefore he is able to manipulate our brain and put thoughts in. As long as we don't react we are fine

I’m fully convinced the demons have access to the images and memories of our minds. He is constantly using them to distract me. Quite often even in church during Mass. memories from long ago I’d never think about on my own.

Yes, this is often their tactic when approaching the sacred. We can replace the image of the attack with the humility of Christ’s passion; the crowning with thorns, the scourging at the pillar, His feet on the Cross, and say the Benedictine prayer or Fatima prayer. I too have felt that before. Stay strong and remember only God knows what goes on in your heart. Jesus is with you. If you have confessed your sins the devil has no more knowledge of them. Stay close to the sacraments, and do not be afraid! Let us pray for one another🙏❤️‍🔥

No. Not the teaching of the Church. Devil can influence our thoughts but can't read our minds. We are all pretty obvious based on our behavior.

I can't recall where I heard to sleep with a rosary underneath your pillow. The devil enters your thoughts and dreams. I put a rosary inside my pillowcase for the last two months and I sleep more peaceful without strange dreams.

Hey I’m a random listener. I checked your comment and understood firmly what you mean. But I must insist on the craftsmanship God provided into our personalities. Though the Fr gave unkindly directions, I insist that you know I smiled due to his personality and not what he truly gave of to you. I agree there are people that say rude comments and it may not touch the soul as it does to many. I was born in NYC where these kind of comments are cherished between people and it grows to an appreciation towards their personalities. This appreciation was highlighted here because I can relate to a man that has undertaken such a covenant I’m so far from, it might’ve even gotten me closer to God.

it's those what we think as bits of venials that are hard to cut off..because these little sins has rooted in us since our first confusion ( the moment our brains started rollling )..but GOD does it all for us, and just like that we will be clean..JESUS is our only hope..nothing else will matter..

Maybe it’s what you think is your desire… I can recall times in my life where what I thought I wanted was just a twisted version of what I really wanted deep within and in this material world it just doesn’t work out right. It was a confused warped version, not the holy, good and right version. Idk how else to explain it.

I'm confused you said thr devil can't read your mind or thoughts but then gave an example of the thoughts of the fat lady that was in the man's mind and he confessed it and it went it away how can it be a temptation of the devil if he can't read your thoughts. It would also imply the devil or demons and plant thoughts in your mind that's not your own

The devil can't access the things you SAY in your mind, but he can access your imagination, so he can "see" your thoughts, but he doesn't actually know what your will's response to the thoughts are. Like watching a movie without audio.

He is a very good preacher. However, I was taken aback too by the way he spoke to one of the people in the room. They should have turned off the micro, as we don't what happened, but the tone was not good.

I am a teacher of young children and often have to be direct and firm while I am teaching. During instruction about the devil is no time to use a sugar coating.😅 I love this speaker and greatly appreciate his work.
