Brilliant Todd, a big help with blend modes, experimenting with them for years but never got to results like you get - Thanks

I've been using Photoshop for twenty years and have a decent handle on using blend modes, but your explanation of each one gave me a much better understanding of what's happening "behind the scenes" when a blend mode is applied. As always, another great video. Thank you!

Fantastic video Tod.I have never come across a video on blend modes like this one before. We can improve our images tremendously. The changes are very subtle but the feel of images improves drastically. The whole thing is a bit confusing, but if we practice and things will work.Tons of thanks and may God bless you.

Love this Todd. These blend modes are so underused and not understood. Thanks for the explanations!

After watching your video à second time, I realized that the reason it is so good is because you explain how to use the blend modes to resolve common fixe we need on a daily basis. Most of the Photoshop gurus do not follow this brilliant logic. Bravo and thank you again

As others have said, this was the best discussion of blend modes I have watched. They are something I rarely used because I didn't understand them. Well done Ted.

The amount of knowledge in this video is just incredible. This could easily be part of a paid course. Thanks for doing this. One topic you could follow up next would be to tackle the same topic but using the refinements offered by the TK panels: luminosity masks and also the quick TK actions such as "soft pop" and "make-it-glow". I'd be interested in knowing if you use those and how they perform versus the manual way of doing the same. Again, bravo. Keep it coming please. Ciao ciao 👋

Understanding a technique is far more valuable, also not sure what makes affinity photo so much more ethical, eventually they will all become a subscription service once they get their clients hooked on their product.
