When using your serger for the zipper you can put some sticky tape each side of your zip or you can put a few over cast stitches each side of the zip it does work most of the time

Never used a zipper foot before and it ain't working. The needle keeps hitting the zipper foot in the center. I noticed you weren't using a zipper foot or am I incorrect?
