Just info, _Android OS is way heavier than iOS interms of RAM, battery n ROM space, just cuz of the tons of background features android has unlike iOS,_ ...and pixel here, even though running on outdated/budget hardware is leaving iP-12 behind goes to show how ahead pixel could have been in a much fair showdown.

Gotta be honest, ...Pixel 5 looks like a hot yet plain n mature Lady, while iPhone is like a Silver spoon Teenager. and ofc pixel can win anytime they want, but google just doesn't bother with competing, cuz u know Goolge softwares on even my 6 year old device runs like a free butter, ..better n faster than paid illustration n drawing apps on my phone. also same smoothmess goes for Microsoft apps on Android.

You forgot about the reverse wireless charging on pixel 5 and what good is 90hz display if you have slower processor the display will be too fast for the phone load content

No pixel optimised it pretty well..and 765G is good enough to properly support 90hz for long, the only problem is that you don't the similar hardware efficiency as A14 bionic on iPhone, ...tho if Google started making their own processors, and used modern hardware like apple then it would definitely be ahead of iPhone, by leaps and bounds.

The Pixel 5 is just too expensive for what it is. It feels like a much better galaxy s10, like how the galaxy s10 should´ve been from the beginning. But the price isn´t right for what cpu you´re getting

What are you guys on about.? You've just seen it match the iPhone 12 on performance. Why do you think the phone is overpriced? Great screen, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, 90hz screen, great build quality, one of the best cameras on a mobile phone. All this for 700 dollars. 599 English pounds. Apple have increased the price of the 12 series whilst removing the charger and the earphones this year and tried to pass it off as doing there bit for the environment? 🤦🏻‍♂️What a joke. Also for the record, I have no preference of apple or android, I just buy a phone that's best suited to my needs. My last 2 phones was an 11 and an 11 pro which was good phones but I've now gone back to pixels are they're just a more helpful phone. The Google assistant is fantastic, Siri was just completely garbage in comparison. Anyway that's my opinion & you're completely entitled to yours.

It doesn't need to have the top end chipset. Google has changed its direction in the phone market and taken a step back from the flagship phone wars. But the evidence is clear from this video that 765g is a very competent chip.

@@matthewclements8661 I have Pixel 5 for one week and except battery life i dont see any difference with my Pixel 3XL ( excluding screen size ofc ). I find more issues on 5 than on 3xl ... Google Pay i not always working, phone call audio extremely bad, camera ehh ... not such a difference

I’m not talking about app opening tests in which even an Iphone 7 could somewhat keep up, I’m talking about the real performance in things like gaming, rendering and longevity (you can basically forget these things with the pixel). Pixel 5 has the better camera? Nope, the Iphone is better in day time pictures thanks to the much better Smart HDR 3 and especially Deep Fusion for medium lighting, better in handheld night time pictures (the Pixel only smokes it in very long exposures) and video, well that’s no comparison both in day time and night time. Speakers sure if I care about? Lamar Jr Pixels only get 3 years as far I know and if your phone lasts over 10 hours (likely thanks to not doing anything intensive) the Iphone will get even more than that

@@basicallyiliketodosomestuf9641 Oooh its got a fancy name for hdr. That means absolutely nothing. Look at camera comparisons, the pixel wins almost every time. And yes I say if you care about speakers because most people including myself just use earbuds anyways and only the speaker for phone calls which the pixel handles just fine. The aluminum may be more prone to denting sure but it will never shatter. The iPhone will shatter and many people have already reported chips. The front is also not "standard glass" its gorilla glass 6. In terms of scratch resistance its the same or better and a little worse in drop resistance because of the ceramic shield. I've watched multiple battery comparisons like that one and the Pixel stomps, so I don't know what to say about that. The iPhone will get 2 more years of updates then the Pixel and it has a better processor sure but the Pixel has much more ram and Google has optimized it hugely. Right now in terms of everyday non gaming or rendering use its able to keep up and sometimes surpass SD865s. And with gaming and rendering it can run almost every game on max at 60 with the exception of PUBG/Fortnite which run at 45.
