Man, I've just gone through 8 videos of people trying to teach the basics but all they do is talk about nothing, lol. This is the THEE video to watch and learn from, as he makes everything simple and explains it so! Thank you so much, bro!!!!!

Thank you so much for this video. I was a complete "noob" when it comes to electricals. I work on my own motorcycle and have always deferred to my mechanic on electrical issues, and now, thanks to you, I am almost 100% self sufficient! 🙏

Great video, love it. Thanks for the time and effort. Getting involved with this topic you would at lease have heard the terms used and have some basic understanding. This video suite me perfect.

When testing DC, If I do not know which wire is positive, and I put the tip wrongly, will it damage anything ?
@SimpleElectronics Жыл бұрын
Nope! As long as you're in the right holes in your multimeter, you are good!

COM = Common as far as know. Good lesson. I was going to make a pun about it being un-common-ly good, but I measured your resistance first. (Obviously I can't help myself)

How can I test a computer PSU and motherboard safely as a beginner?
@SimpleElectronics6 ай бұрын
The PSU - as long as you mean the DC parts (no disassembly) - super easily - a motherboard however is quite complex with tiny little contacts to test - if you can even get the diagrams for it
@path_ethics6 ай бұрын
@@SimpleElectronics I meant to ask how can I test it safely, meaning is it safe to test the pins of the PSU and board with a multimeter or should I worry about being electrocuted?
@SimpleElectronics6 ай бұрын
@@path_ethics as long as you don't open up the power supply, you can't get electrocuted by the low voltage DC from a pc power supply

Not a good tutorial for me. I would think, someone coming to watch a how to video also needs to learn the terminology associated. Such is the case with me. It looks like it would be a good how to lesson if I knew what you were talking about. I'm sure there are those that would think this is a stupid comment, but think about it.
@wandaweickert28246 ай бұрын
talks way to fast and assumes one already knows the terminology.
