KZbin's algorithm doesn't work often because it HEAVILY favors channels who have a large, dedicated viewer-base. Since that viewer-base causes the videos to have fantastic stats that make youtube decide to recommend the video a bunch of times for a bit. It's a fantastic video, but it's fighting against stats that easily beat it exponentially.
