Absolutely love the inclusion of Romani in this. We're from the Rajasthan area of India, so a lot of our culture still has strong ties to India and Hinduism, including Sara La Kali

Thank you. I have heard some variations in the depictions of her, which I suppose is like most oral historic traditions, (I heard the skulls on the garland were the heads of demons, not humans, and that her tongue was protruding with bloodlust and not shame), so thank you for explaining, the different meanings. It gets very frustrating trying to explain to some (I am NRI, born in the UK), that Hindu deities are representations and the stories are symbolic- I try to use the examples of how we all have different sides to ourselves, such as, a woman is still a daughter, could be a mother herself, has been educated, but may now be a teacher, how we act one way with family, differently with friends, partners etc but if you have any other suggestions on how to explain things I would be grateful. I am already glad I have come across this channel, with it's short videos, honing in on the most important features, on the images, the stories, and then what they represent. 👋

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world

Everybody it to their own. Hindus view God in a different way.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds

There is no concept of a Satan or devil in hinduism evil is a result of bad deeds done by others and those who deliberately hurt others therfore face karma.

Your whole comment shows you have a completely different world view monotheism is not how hindus define or view God.

@@beautifulmelanatedgoddess2299 God is singular not plural, use your common sense and think for yourself! Much love ❤️
